Read full storyGulfstream Energy has implemented Green Gain Consulting’s DigiLex SHEQ Management System (now known as Ariscu) in order to ensure full and continuous compliance with all legal requirements and legislation in the areas of safety, quality and environment.
This partnership will position Gulfstream Energy as the only fuel company in South Africa compliant across all three of these codes.
Founded in 2000, Green Gain Consulting has already assisted over 100 companies and 3,000 users in South Africa to remain legally compliant and aligned with various standards, including ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14 001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18 001 (Health and Safety).
As part of this ongoing commitment to safety and security, Gulfstream also recently engaged in a SQAS (Safety and Quality Assessment System) Audit. Focused on the evaluation of the quality, safety, security and environmental performance of Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and Chemical Distributors, a SQAS Audit provides a company with the opportunity to demonstrate full compliance with all relevant legal requirements across all areas of operation, including a specific focus on proactive safety management.
“Safety and Security remains our top priority,” stresses Shane Jegels, CEO, Gulfstream Energy. Whilst important across all industries, the need for strict compliance within the petroleum and fuels sector is vital. “We feel confident that our recent engagement with both Green Gain and SQAS will enable us to continue prioritising this as a key focus area across all touchpoints throughout our business.”
